Bobby Samuelson, Executive Editor

Bobby is an Editor of The Life Product Review. He is a frequent keynote speaker at industry and corporate conferences, has authored and co-authored articles for publications such as Trusts & Estates and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal. Bobby is also the CEO of Life Innovators, an independent life and annuity product development company.

Prior to reestablishing The Life Product Review in late 2017, Bobby was Senior Vice President and Head of Product Development and Pricing at Brighthouse Financial, formerly MetLife’s US Retail division. He and his team developed, priced, filed and supported all new and inforce life and annuity products sold by Brighthouse Financial, including fixed, indexed and variable annuities and whole life, universal life and term life insurance products.

Before joining MetLife in 2013, Bobby was an author, speaker, and consultant to life insurance companies, independent distributors, producers and high-end clients and their advisors. He started his career at National Financial Partners (NFP) and is the 3rd generation of his family to work in the life insurance industry.

Kasey Gammons, Editor

Kasey Gammons is a life insurance expert with deep experience in product analytics, case design, and advisor education and support. He brings a rare ability to bridge technical complexity and real‑world application, making intricate ideas both clear and actionable.

Kasey has over 10 years of experience in life insurance product. He began his career at LifeTrends, where he led the content strategy and writing function, focusing on explaining the “why” behind the numbers for LifeTrends subscribers.

In 2021, he joined LIBRA Insurance Partners, one of the largest independent distribution organizations in the life insurance industry. There, he established himself as an authority on life product, helping member firms navigate complex market dynamics, understand the many levers inside the insurance chassis, and set realistic expectations and solutions for long‑term success across diverse agent and advisor bases.

In addition to his industry roles, Kasey created a Christian personal finance class focused on a biblical understanding of money and stewardship. He serves as a deacon at his church and enjoys staying active through running and strength training.
